My Story

I am a 31 year old blonde living in Beijing, China.  I moved from Manhattan by way of Houston by way of my hometown of Murray, Kentucky.  Beijing is a long way from home….over 6,800 miles to be more specific.   So, one might wonder what brought me to this very foreign city…well, it was love.  And, although I have many days when I don’t speak a word of English until my love returns from work, I have no regrets.  I do; however, have a challenge ahead of me.  I welcome this challenge.  I feel blessed and excited to experience an entirely new culture and way of life.  And, I think I can speak for many blondes, when I say that standing out in a crowd is something that we welcome any day of the week. I do realize that moving to a country known for beautiful dark hair makes me a bit of a cheat…quite a bit of one actually!

I am writing this blog to share my journey, my love of fashion and design, my travels, and my funny tales in this very foreign land.
